Dubai Municipality has launched the ‘Work from Park’ initiative, introducing flexible work environments within public parks as part of a strategy to integrate productivity, leisure, and nature while enhancing quality of life.

The initiative aims to redefine public parks as multi-functional urban spaces that support modern work patterns, boost economic productivity, and foster community engagement. It aligns with the Dubai 2040 Parks and Greenery Strategy, supports the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, and contributes to the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

As part of the rollout, Dubai Municipality signed two Memoranda of Cooperation with Group AMANA and Letswork LLC to develop and operate advanced infrastructure for future-ready workspaces across parks in the emirate.

Work from Park locations

The first flagship location is scheduled to open in May 2026 at Al Barsha Pond Park. The site will feature modular workspaces built to high sustainability standards and integrated with the park’s natural setting. Additional locations are expected to open across Dubai throughout the year.

The initiative positions public parks as productivity-enabled environments catering to entrepreneurs, freelancers, SMEs, and remote workers, while maintaining their role as recreational destinations.

Under the agreement, Group AMANA, through DuBox, will construct the first ‘Work from Park’ destination at Al Barsha Pond Park using advanced off-site modular construction technology. This method enables units to be manufactured off-site and assembled on location efficiently, reducing waste, environmental impact, and construction time while ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
