Egis, the leading international multidisciplinary engineering, consulting and operations firm, has entered into a new strategic partnership with the Emirates Green Building Council (EmiratesGBC) by becoming an industry partner, the highest level of membership in the council.

EmiratesGBC is a non-government organization that promotes and educates on sustainability in the built environment in UAE. EmiratesGBC is an established member, which is the highest level of membership, in the World Green Building Council.

Egis has been providing sustainability services across the world for over 50 years, and the company’s partnership with EmiratesGBC is a reflection of its commitment to promoting sustainable practices in the Middle East. As an industry partner, Egis will work closely with EmiratesGBC to promote the adoption of sustainable building practices and technologies in the region.

The company will also be able to contribute its knowledge and expertise to the development of regenerative design solutions, sustainable practices, and help businesses in the region to reduce their carbon footprint, minimize waste, and adopt more sustainable practices to advocate the region’s aspirations towards Carbon Neutrality.

This partnership will enable Egis to contribute its extensive experience in sustainable development and engineering to EmiratesGBC’s initiatives and events, while also gaining valuable insights into the challenges faced by the construction industry across the value chain.
