UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE), in collaboration with the Federal Youth Authority, has launched the Emirates Youth Council for Agriculture to empower young Emiratis to contribute to agricultural innovation, sustainability, and national food security.
The announcement was made during the third day of the inaugural Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, at the ADNEC Centre in Al Ain.
The Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition 2025 is part of the Plant the Emirates national program, inspired by the legacy of Sheikh Zayed. It supports UAE food security, expands green areas, and encourages home-based food production while promoting fresh, local, high-nutritional-value products to reduce carbon emissions and enhance environmental sustainability.
