The headquarters and first manufacturing facility of KERNO Enterprises at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the special economic zone for knowledge- and innovation-driven companies and a member of DIEZ, has been inaugurated at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), marking a key milestone in the country’s advanced technology and industrial development.
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), witnessed the inauguration of the headquarters and first manufacturing facility of KERNO Enterprises at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO).
The event was attended by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Executive Chairman of DIEZ, Christopher Caswell, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of KERNO Enterprises, senior government officials, and private sector representatives.
The facility positions KERNO Enterprises as the UAE’s first manufacturer of enterprise IT hardware, designing, developing, and producing secure technology solutions locally. The project supports the UAE’s priorities to strengthen technological sovereignty, localize advanced industries, and build resilient digital infrastructure for artificial intelligence and the digital economy.
During the visit, HH Sheikh Ahmed toured the facility’s production lines, assembly operations, testing procedures, and quality assurance systems. He also reviewed KERNO Enterprises’ portfolio, including AI servers, high-performance computing systems, enterprise servers, and data storage technologies.
HH Sheikh Ahmed stated that the establishment of KERNO Enterprises’ headquarters and manufacturing facility at Dubai Silicon Oasis is a significant addition to Dubai and the UAE’s advanced manufacturing sector. It reflects the strategic importance of investing in knowledge, innovation, and technology-driven industries while supporting the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to position Dubai among the world’s leading economic centers, His Highness added.

Key facilities at KERNO Enterprises’ unit
The KERNO Enterprises manufacturing unit has an annual production capacity of more than 60,000 technology products, including AI servers, enterprise and edge computing servers, UAE-developed x86 multi-purpose platforms, and enterprise-grade storage systems for mission-critical applications.

Christopher Caswell, Co-Founder and CEO of KERNO Enterprises, commented that the inauguration of the company’s headquarters and manufacturing facility marks a key milestone in its growth and reinforces its commitment to designing and manufacturing advanced enterprise IT hardware in the UAE.
