ENOC Group plans 40+ service stations by 2021

UAE’s leading integrated global oil and gas company, ENOC Group announced the launching of 40 new service stations by the end of next year which will expand its retail network to 192 stations soon.

By the end of this year, the company intends to launch 16 service stations in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates with 24 more stations planned for completion by the end of 2021.

The expansion of this network of service stations reaffirms the Group’s commitment to helping the country in developing robust fuel retail infrastructure and will satisfy fuel demands across the nation.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO ENOC Group said, “As a leading energy player, we are committed to developing a robust retail infrastructure to serve the UAE for the next 50 years”.

The group intends to construct two marine stations in Dubai Harbor and Sukheim to fulfill the demand of boat and yard owners in terms of marine fuel. As of the end of September, both stations will become operational.

The marine station will follow the international standard practices in retail fuel services by manufacturing and automation standards. Also, CCTV and automatic number plate detection cameras will be installed to ensure high protection.

Besides, the stations will feature new generation dispensers with retractable hoses on both sides to refill vehicles. The fuel system was designed to allow the maximum safe flow rate and to reduce the overall refueling time in compliance with the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) guidelines. The fuel system is fully automated, assisted by its Auto Tank Gauging and electronic leak detection system, which helps in reducing the risk for human error and the need for intervention.

The LED lighting system which is not only eco-friendly but also provides zero maintenance and protection to the station. Lighting will help reduce the energy consumption of the station by 50 percent. The air conditioning also uses new VRF technology to reduce energy usage by 35 percent.

Zoom C stores that offer 7,500 products including snacks, candy, and hot and cold drinks are available in the service station.
