Expo Centre Sharjah to host 17th edition of SteelFab from Jan 10

UAE’s premier exhibition facility Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) will hold the 17th of SteelFab 2022 from 10th to 13th January, with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).

The SteelFab is the Middle East and North Africa’s (MENA) premier trade show for the metalworking, metal manufacturing, and steel fabrication Industry.

Over 150 local and international exhibitors from 20 countries and 400 brands of the world’s leading brands in the field of metalwork and related industries are set to take part in the event.

The event will feature the most prominent technologies of the fourth industrial revolution in the iron and steel sector, as well as the most up-to-date steel industry equipment and machinery, modern metal forming technologies, low-cost laser systems for metal cutting, steel fabrication machines, AI-powered robots, and other related engineering disciplines.

“SteelFab is one of the most important events we are keen to organize annually, with the aim of promoting the recovery of the steel and metal industry in Sharjah, supporting the “300 billion project”, aimed at developing the industrial sector in the UAE, and raising its contribution to the GDP from $36 billion (AED 133 billion) to $81 billion (AED 300 billion) by 2031.”

According to Mr. Al Midfa, the exhibition will highlight state-of-the-art equipment and digital technologies used in the field of metal forming, which will be displayed by an elite group of the world’s most prominent manufacturers and traders. The event will also include seminars on the industry’s reality and future.

The CEO further emphasized that a set of strict precautionary and preventive measures will be implemented to ensure the health and safety of the participants and visitors.
