Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has granted an economic license to Jetex to provide general aviation ground handling services at Red Sea International Airport.

Under the license, Jetex will offer a comprehensive package of private aviation services, contributing to higher service quality standards, improved operational efficiency, and an enhanced passenger experience at one of the world’s premier tourist destinations.

This strategic move is designed to bolster the infrastructure of general aviation, representing a significant step forward in the development of the sector within the Kingdom.

It aligns closely with the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy, enhance infrastructure, and position the Kingdom as a global hub for trade, tourism, and innovation.

This milestone underscores the commitment to expanding and modernizing aviation services, fostering growth, and supporting the overall economic transformation envisioned for the future.

GACA made the announcement during the Supply Chain and Logistics Conference 2025 held in Riyadh. The event brought together ministers and senior officials, heads of supply chain and logistics companies, government and private-sector representatives, industry leaders, investors, and stakeholders interested in developing the logistics sector.

This move highlights GACA’s unwavering commitment as the sector’s regulatory body. By fostering a conducive environment for investment, enhancing competitiveness, and welcoming qualified international operators, GACA aims to ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

This proactive approach not only strengthens the Kingdom’s aviation sector but also reinforces its dedication to creating a world-class infrastructure that meets international standards and supports sustainable growth.
