Netherlands-based GNX, a provider of global Internet and private connectivity services, has expanded to the Middle East region with the launch of a new Dubai office.

With this launch, the company aims to step up its brand and regional presence by deploying a local team of experts to better address the specific connectivity requirements of MEA-based enterprises, MSPs, and data center providers as the region undergoes transformative growth.

Jan Willem Meijer, one of GNX’s shareholders and a member of the Advisory Board, is leading the expansion of GNX in the Middle East region.

“Having lived in Dubai for many years, I’ve built and nurtured a strong personal network which I’ve continued to develop from the Netherlands. This important step is a commitment to them, our customers and partners, as much as an opportunity to expand and build new long-lasting local partnerships.”

The Middle East region has now become a hub of innovation and a vibrant destination for international businesses. Still, it faces unique challenges in the telecom space: from navigating local regulations to dealing with varying infrastructure standards.

Meijer added that, “But connectivity in the Middle East doesn’t need to be complicated. Our goal is to help global enterprises navigate the unique challenges of the region. GNX is an authority when it comes to the design and delivery of complex and large connectivity projects. Our network team consists of multiple CCIE-level experts who truly understand the requirements of global enterprises, especially in more challenging and regulated regions.”

With extensive global, regional, and local partnerships, GNX provides customers with internet access in over 190 countries while also offering latency- (ULL) and cost-optimized private connectivity from the UAE and other MEA countries to anywhere in the world.

“Our private Ethernet services offer reliable, dedicated connectivity from anywhere in the Middle East to sites, data centers, or public clouds worldwide. These solutions are designed to provide customers with high bandwidth, resilient connectivity, flexibility, and quality of service in a cost-effective and compliant manner,” stated Rutger Bevaart, CEO of GNX.
