Gulf Air has expanded its temporary commercial network with the addition of Paris (CDG) and Manila (MNL), with services operating via King Fahd International Airport (DMM) in Dammam.
The services will be available until March 28, 2026, as the airline continues to adapt to the ongoing closure of Bahrain’s airspace.
The latest additions build on Gulf Air’s previously announced temporary routes to London Heathrow (LHR), Mumbai (BOM), Bangkok (BKK), Frankfurt (FRA), Nairobi (NBO), Cairo (CAI), Casablanca (CMN), and Chennai (MAA).
The airline now operates flights to a total of 10 international destinations through Dammam, ensuring continued global connectivity for passengers traveling to and from the Kingdom of Bahrain.
To facilitate passenger movement, Gulf Air is providing land transport between Bahrain and Dammam for customers with confirmed bookings.
The airline will also assist eligible passengers with the issuance of Saudi transit visas for those utilizing the land transfer service. However, travellers whose final destination is Saudi Arabia are required to obtain valid entry visas independently.
Gulf Air has urged passengers to ensure they hold confirmed bookings prior to traveling to Dammam for departure. Bookings are available through the airline’s official website, mobile application, and authorized travel agents.
The carrier confirmed that flights to and from Bahrain International Airport remain suspended until further notice, pending official confirmation from Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs regarding the reopening of the Kingdom’s airspace.
Despite the disruption, Gulf Air continues to mobilize its operational resources to maintain services, with flight crews and operational teams working continuously under strict safety protocols.
The airline’s adaptive measures underscore its commitment to ensuring service continuity, passenger safety, and operational resilience amid ongoing regional challenges.
