Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and INDU Group have broken ground on a new automotive logistics hub in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), expanding logistics infrastructure to support automotive spare parts distribution across regional and international markets.
The facility, covering nearly 300,000 square feet, is being developed to meet growing demand for efficient automotive supply chain services across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Africa, and other markets.
The project is intended to strengthen spare parts storage, handling, and distribution capabilities as automotive supply chains continue to evolve.
Developed by INDU Logistics, a subsidiary of INDU Group, the facility will operate as a dedicated automotive hub within Hellmann’s Middle East network.
The site is designed to handle a broad range of automotive spare parts and will include high-density bin storage, pallet racking systems, and dedicated areas for oversized and bulky components.
The facility’s scalable design will enable the management of high-volume inventory and distribution requirements while supporting operational efficiency.
Once completed, it will provide additional capacity for manufacturers, distributors, and automotive businesses seeking regional logistics solutions.

“The UAE is a strategically important market within our global network. By establishing this dedicated automotive hub in Jafza, we are systematically expanding our regional capabilities and creating further scalable, industry-focused infrastructure. This enables us to deliver competitive, high-performance logistics solutions for our customers and to support their long-term growth.”
Abdulla Al Hashmi, Global Chief Operating Officer, Parks and Economic Zones, DP World, noted that, “Hellmann’s investment in Jafza reflects the rapid pace at which the automotive industry is growing in the Middle East, with customers looking for faster, more reliable access to critical spare parts across multiple markets. By continuing to build specialized infrastructure in Dubai, we are supporting our partners in managing uncertainty and keeping their operations moving.”
The development comes as automotive companies place greater emphasis on inventory availability, delivery efficiency, and supply chain resilience.
Dedicated logistics facilities are increasingly being used to support the movement of parts and components across multiple markets while reducing lead times.
Jafza remains a key logistics and trade hub, supported by its integrated infrastructure, multimodal transport links, and direct connectivity to Jebel Ali Port.
The free zone hosts a large number of automotive, logistics, and trading companies and serves as a distribution base for businesses operating across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
The new automotive logistics hub will add to Jafza’s existing logistics infrastructure and provide additional capacity for specialized supply chain operations.
