India-based educational technology (edtech) platform Cuemath has expanded its services into the Sultanate of Oman.

According to the statement, Cuemath is now available in four Gulf region countries, namely the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. The company noted that the move comes after the company launched operations in the UAE in June 2021 and recently in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

“As with Cuemath’s rapid, regional and global expansion, the catalyst for its expansion into Oman has been organic, word-of-mouth amongst consumers,” as per the company. Cuemath’s math learning platform is well-positioned to assist Omani customers.

The Middle East’s EdTech is growing rapidly. The Insight Partners, the international research consultancy, forecasts the MEA EdTech market to grow to $7.6 billion by 2027. Market drivers include a high focus on education, rising young populations, and the rising trend of digitalization in the education sector, as per the reports.

Under His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, Oman has implemented great reforms to promote investment in, and diversify its economy. The jobs of the 21st century will increasingly have math skills at their core, so this is a perfect time for Cuemath to enter the Omani market. Our market entry is responding to demand and follows great word-of-mouth across the Middle East. We are confident our Omani growth will follow our great success across the region.”
