Bahrain Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, in collaboration with Eskan Bank, has unveiled the official website for the ‘Innovation Summit in Social Housing 2025’, providing the conference’s objectives, key themes, and details about the speakers.
Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the event will revolve around the theme “Towards Innovative and Sustainable Housing Solutions” and will kick off from April 23-25 at the Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB).
The Summit’s website provides the agenda for the conference sessions, topics for discussion, and a list of participating entities, including real estate developers and financing banks supporting the housing finance program.
It also features a registration mechanism for those interested in attending the exhibition and participating in the sessions, both from within the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad.
Abdullah Talib, General Manager of Eskan Bank, highlighted that the conference will cover themes including exchanging experiences on innovative designs and construction technologies, exploring investment opportunities for the private sector in the social housing sector, integrating community needs into the implementation of housing programs and services, and enhancing legal and regulatory frameworks. Another highlight will be on optimal land use to develop sustainable urban communities.
The summit will also present discussions and working papers highlighting successful case studies and the current state of the housing sector, including its challenges and opportunities for development.
The conference will gather ministers and senior officials from both the public and private sectors, from Bahrain and outside the region, along leading international speakers specializing in social housing to enhance the discussions.
The exhibition will include more than 30 pavilions representing government entities, commercial banks, and property development companies, spotlight an array of housing projects eligible for the housing finance program.
‘The Innovation Summit in Social Housing 2025’ and its accompanying exhibition are poised to strengthen Bahrain’s housing strategies and policies through cutting-edge housing solutions and the exchange of knowledge and expertise, supporting the development of the social housing sector.
The event will serve as a thriving platform for professionals in the social housing sector to exchange experiences and explore the latest projects, drawing diverse participation from the Gulf region, the Arab world, and international stakeholders.
