Kidana Development Company operates in the real estate industry, focusing on the development and renovation of holy sites.
Muzdalifah route
The Muzdalifah route is a key part of the Hajj pilgrimage, linking the plains of Arafat to Mina via Muzdalifah. After spending the day at Arafat on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims begin their journey to Muzdalifah immediately after sunset. The distance between Arafat and Muzdalifah is approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles). The route can be traversed on foot, typically taking around 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the pilgrim’s pace and crowd density.
Kidana enhances pilgrim sites with smart features
Kidana has enhanced pilgrim facilities with separate lanes for vehicles and carts, alongside benches, water dispensers, phone charging units, misting poles, canopies, and awareness boards, all designed to ensure pilgrim comfort, safety, and ease of rituals.
According to the statement, Kidana has also developed rental units designed following the architectural guidelines of Makkah and the holy sites. These were operated for the first time in the holy sites by local brands to offer services in catering, banking, pharmacies, restaurants, and cafés. Additionally, 72 charitable distribution centers were established to organize charitable services throughout the Hajj season.
