Nabil Habayeb, Vice President, GE | President and CEO, Global Growth Organisation (GGO)
Nabil Habayeb, President and CEO of GE for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, has been designated as Senior Vice President, GE and President & CEO of the Global Growth Organization (GGO) with effect from 1 June 2020.
Habayeb succeeds Rachel Duan, Senior Vice President, GE, and President & CEO, GGO, who has agreed to leave GE and start on a new phase of her life.

A member of the GE, Habayeb has worked at a range of leadership positions in companies and countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He sits on a variety of professional and industry committees. Habayeb began his GE career in the United States after graduating from Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Weiming Xiang is expected to assume the position of Vice-Chairman, Chairman & CEO of GE Asia, while keeping his current function as GE Aviation representative for Asia. For 28 years, Xiang has been with the Organization in a number of leading market positions.
