The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has organized a workshop to review its newly introduced regulatory bylaws, marking a significant step toward strengthening its institutional framework and enhancing operational efficiency.

The initiative brought together senior officials and stakeholders to discuss how the updated bylaws will streamline internal systems, improve governance, and support the Chamber’s broader strategic objectives.

The reforms are designed to modernize institutional processes while ensuring greater responsiveness to the needs of businesses operating in a dynamic economic environment.

“The new regulatory framework represents a critical milestone in advancing the Chamber’s mandate. The bylaws will enhance our ability to serve the private sector more effectively and adapt to ongoing economic transformations. Zakaria bin Abdullah Al-Saadi, Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber, described the new regulatory framework as a cornerstone for achieving a qualitative shift in executive management. He highlighted that the bylaws have been developed in accordance with the highest institutional standards, with a strong focus on digital transformation and process automation.

Al-Saadi added that the updated regulations will streamline internal operations, accelerate decision-making, and enhance the overall work environment. The measures are also expected to improve service delivery for members, reinforcing the Chamber’s commitment to operational excellence.
