Oman’s GFT seals deal to issue Visa-branded physical & virtual cards

Oman-based Global Financial Technology (GFT) has signed an agreement with the world leader in digital payments, Visa in order to issue Visa-branded physical and virtual cards.

With this agreement, GFT will be able to benefit from Visa’s payments expertise, global reach, and secure and seamless digital payments technology.

Global Financial Technology is a licensed payment service provider that offers fintech services through its wallet and payment gateway and owner of the OM Pay mobile application, Oman’s first super app that provides mobile payment solutions in the form of a digital wallet. OM Pay, the soon-to-be-launched key product of GFT, is a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certified product.
