Oman-based leading integrated telecommunications services provider, Omantel has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in order to launch a shopping platform, which will be a comprehensive online store for companies and individuals to search, buy and sell goods, services and solutions securely.
The establishment of the electronic marketing platform “Omantel Shopping Platform” reflects Omantel’s efforts to utilize its global capabilities and partnerships to enhance the contribution of the digital economy to the gross domestic product (GDP).
Further, it seeks to enhance the outreach of Omani small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and improve their competitiveness in global markets in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
