Qatar Ministry of Transport (MOT) has unveiled its ‘Darb’ application for smartphones and smart devices, as part of its commitment to elevate accessibility to its digital services anytime, anyplace, faster and easier than ever.
The new ‘Darb’ application offers a range of digital services related to maritime transportation affairs, particularly small crafts’ transactions.
This cutting-edge app enables beneficiaries to register a new small craft, renew a small craft’s registration license, modify a small craft’s specifications, have a replacement for a lost or damaged license issued, delete a small craft, have a small craft’s ownership sequence certificate issued, apply for a small craft’s mortgage service, apply for a small craft’s mortgage release service, and modify a small craft’s ownership.
Beneficiaries can visit and seamlessly apply for new digital services anytime, anyplace. Additionally, they can tell the application to send them their maritime vessels’ cards via Qatar Post.
The application includes a notification feature, keeping users updated. Users can also get in touch with the MOT team directly through the ‘Contact Us’ page, and use the application to reach the MOT’s official website where they can view MOT’s news and events.
‘Darb’ plans to feature other MOT’s digital services related to seafarers’ affairs and land transportation licensing. The launch of both digital services and the application comes as part of MOT’s ongoing efforts to modernize the country’s transportation sector while driving technological advancements.
