Qatar’s Commercial Bank wins the prestigious “Banker Award”

Qatar-based Commercial Bank has been awarded The Banker Award for “Innovation in Digital Banking” in the Middle East 2020 in recognition of its leading innovative digital services in the region.

The award honors the bank’s excellence and innovation in financial technology, as it looks for digital initiatives led by banks that demonstrate innovation and transformation.

“It has taken a radical transformation path through which we aim to ultimately digitize its customers’ banking journey; therefore, paving the way for faster, easier, and more convenient banking operations and day-to-day transactions,” the bank added in its statement.

In 2020, the bank has demonstrated once again its ability to cope with change and invest in technology as a means to provide its customers with the majority of their banking needs through its digital channels and award-winning mobile application.

Throughout the year, Commercial Bank has been the first to deliver several innovative digital banking services in the market such as “CB Household Worker PayCard”, “CB Pay”, and “CB Pay for Merchants.”
