QIB honored by Digital Banker Magazine for its innovative banking solutions

Qatar’s leading and globally renowned digital bank, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has been honored with two prestigious titles at The Digital Banker Magazine’s Middle East & Africa Innovation Awards 2021.

The bank was recognized as the ‘Best Mobile Initiative in Qatar’ and ‘Best Bank for Cash Management in Qatar’ and these awards come following QIB’s outstanding performance and excellence in giving innovative banking solutions for corporate customers in the country.

The bank received the Best Mobile Initiative award for its Corporate Mobile App and the structural & features updates of its Corporate Internet Banking portal. The Best Bank Cash Management recognition also comes following QIB’s introduction of series of new digital cash management solutions for SMEs & large corporations, like the digital Host-to-Host (H2H) Online Payment Management solution, the Remote Deposit Cheque (RDC) service and the new Corporate Deposit Only Card.

QIB is the first Islamic bank in Qatar to bring a corporate mobile banking application, offering corporate customers a convenient, trusted, and safe way to fulfill their financial requirements remotely.

The bank is also the first in the country to initiate an integrated Host-to-Host (H2H) Online Payment Management solution for large corporates, in line with its endeavors to automate and accelerate the payment management experiences of its corporate customers.

Further, QIB has introduced a Remote Deposit Cheque (RDC) service as a safe, fast and efficient solution for companies to remotely deposit cheques from their own offices, in addition to a new Corporate Deposit Only Card that allows corporates to deposit cash or cheques in their accounts with no human interaction.

The Digital Banker’s Middle East and Africa Innovation Awards honor the world’s leading digitally-driven banking institutions. The accolades are attributed to outstanding players and aim to be the benchmarks for the industry and the largest repository of wholesale banking.
