The Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) has won six gold awards at the 25th Arab Radio and Television Festival held in Tunis, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to providing quality media content while strengthening its presence in Arab world.
Qatar TV and Qatar Radio, operated by QMC, received these golden awards. Qatar TV secured the golden award in the ‘Comedy Series’ category for the series ‘Mordi and Daham 2’, while the program ‘The Promising Generation’ won the golden award in the ‘Children’s Programs’ category.
The report ‘Electronic Fraud’ was honored with the golden award in the ‘News Report’ category, while the documentary film ‘Gaza Nightmare’ obtained the golden award in the category of television films and documentaries on the Palestinian cause.
Meanwhile, Qatar Radio won two gold awards in the ‘Scientific Programs and Artificial Intelligence’ category for the ‘Push Button’ program, and in the ‘Awareness’ category for the ‘Will’ program, which focused on respecting one’s neighbors.
HE Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Jassim Al Thani, Acting CEO of the Qatar Media Corporation, praised Qatar Radio and Television on winning six gold awards at the 25th Arab Radio and Television Festival.
Ali Saleh Al Sada, Director of Qatar TV, commented that, “We are proud of this great achievement, which reflects Qatar TV’s presence in the Arab media landscape and demonstrates the quality of production, the distinction of the media message we convey, and the extent of the effort expended.”
Mohammed Nasser Al Mohannadi, Director of Qatar Radio, stated that this achievement is the culmination of a media strategy and a well-informed message. Al Mohannadi also underscored that the recognition highlights the organizational excellence of the Qatar Media Corporation, which combines planning, creativity and teamwork.
Furthermore, Al Mohannadi stressed that Qatar Radio remains committed to delivering high quality and sophisticated content, while ensuring that its voice remains honest and vibrant for all that matters to society, influencing both the local and regional levels.
Qatar Media Corporation also received two awards at the Radio and Television Exchange Awards, both for Qatar Radio and Qatar Television. With this, the total number of awards won by the QMC this year has reached eight.
