The Saudi Fashion Commission has announced that the Saudi Fashion Week will take place from 20 to 23 October 2023 in the nation’s capital city, Riyadh.
The announcement was made during Paris Fashion Week, one of the most anticipated events in the fashion world.
The three-day fashion week is the first of its kind for the Kingdom. The event marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Saudi Arabia’s fashion industry.
The fashion week will showcase collections created by a diverse cast of designers from the Fashion Commission’s Saudi 100 brands program to promote their innovative work on a global stage.

Founded in 2020, the Fashion Commission is leading the development of the sector in the Kingdom. The Commission aims to develop the sector, driving its advancement and supporting practitioners in the field.
According to the statement, the Commission is setting a new strategy to enhance and boost the sector and proposing new projects targeted at increasing its contribution to the economy.
The Commission’s Saudi 100 brands program has put its designers on the global fashion stage, taking the designers to major fashion events in New York, Paris, and Milan, demonstrating that Saudi is increasingly an integral part of the global fashion scene.

Recently, the Commission launched its first comprehensive report on the state of the fashion industry in Saudi Arabia. The ‘State of Fashion in the Kingdom’ report provides a detailed insight into the country’s fashion landscape, outlining the significant opportunities for growth in the sector.
Saudi Arabia’s fashion industry holds the largest projected growth rates of any other large, high-income market, the report said.
The Saudi Fashion Commission also announced the launching of Saudi Fashion Insights, the premier resource for learning about the Saudi fashion ecosystem’s current situation, along with the release of the report.
