The Saudi Dairy Forum concluded with the signing of agreements worth more than $40 million (SAR150 million), marking a major boost for the Kingdom’s dairy industry.
The forum highlighted key investment opportunities and initiatives aimed at strengthening the sector’s role in supporting food security and economic growth. These included the launch of new dairy companies, partnerships between startups and logistics firms, and support services for production lines, training, and qualification.
The Saudi Dairy Forum, held in Al-Kharj Governorate from April 23 to 25, brought together representatives from government agencies, Saudi universities, and the private sector. It featured seven dialogue sessions led by experts who discussed the latest advancements in dairy and animal production, food safety, factory technologies, and supply chain innovations.

According to the reports, the Saudi Dairy Forum served as a platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for enhancing dairy production, improving supply chains, and promoting sustainability within the sector. Key topics included advancements in dairy farming technologies, investment opportunities, and initiatives aimed at achieving food security in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives.
Further, the forum’s discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration between various stakeholders to drive innovation and sustainability in the dairy industry, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to diversify the economy and enhance food security.
Abdulaziz Al-Sharif, chairman of the forum’s supreme committee, highlighted the Saudi Dairy Forum’s role in fostering collaboration to further develop the Kingdom’s dairy sector, which boasts over 129 percent self-sufficiency, $5.87 billion (SAR22 billion) in investments, and $1.28 billion (SAR4.8 billion) in exports, underscoring the trust in Saudi dairy products both domestically and internationally.
