The Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Alswaha, has held a series of high-level meetings with leaders of major global entities and technology companies.

These meetings took place during the Saudi delegation’s participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, as part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation.

The meetings led by the Saudi Arabian minister focused on expanding strategic partnerships in the fields of digital infrastructure, enterprise computing, space technologies, and advanced computing, in support of the sustained growth of the digital economy and in alignment with the rapid developments of the smart era.

These discussions highlighted opportunities to enhance technological readiness and accelerate digital transformation across key sectors.

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships in advanced computing and artificial intelligence (AI), the minister met with Cerebras Systems Chief Executive Officer Andrew Feldman to explore avenues of cooperation in high-performance computing and cutting-edge AI technologies. The discussions aimed to accelerate technological innovation, support data-driven solutions, and enable advanced digital capabilities.

Within the framework of expanding international partnerships in space and advanced technologies, the minister also met with European Space Agency Director-General Josef Aschbacher to discuss prospects for collaboration in space technologies. The talks covered areas such as capacity building, knowledge exchange, and enabling innovation to support future space and technology initiatives.

Saudi Minister Alswaha also met with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Chief Executive Officer Antonio Neri to discuss advancing the development of digital infrastructure and enterprise computing solutions. The meeting focused on accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies in ways that enhance digital economy readiness, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable technological growth.
