The Saudi-Tunisian Business Forum has concluded in Riyadh, bringing together over 300 public and private sector participants to discuss deepening economic partnerships and turning shared visions into tangible projects.
The Saudi-Tunisian Business Forum was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment and the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and was attended by Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning Dr. Samir Abdelhafidh.
Discussions focused on ways to enhance economic integration and joint investments across key sectors, including industry, agriculture, energy, sustainability, and supply chains, with an emphasis on stimulating the investment environment and expanding private-sector partnerships in both countries.
The Saudi side highlighted the competitive advantages of the Kingdom’s investment ecosystem and the enablers available to facilitate the investor journey, while showcasing high-potential opportunities in promising sectors aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
Participants also discussed renewable energy projects and electrical interconnection at the Saudi-Tunisian Business Forum, underscoring their importance in strengthening energy security and regional integration, and in creating high-quality investment opportunities in this vital sector.
The Saudi-Tunisian Business Forum witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA), aimed at institutionalizing cooperation and facilitating the exchange of investment opportunities, ensuring that the forum’s outcomes are translated into measurable projects in priority sectors.

Saudi Minister Bandar Alkhorayef and Tunisian Minister Dr. Samir Abdulhafidh has also met with the Saudi-Tunisian Business Council to discuss expanding investment partnerships and enabling the private sector to seize opportunities in both countries. The meeting highlighted the strong bilateral economic ties and emphasized the private sector’s role in promoting sustainable development, diversifying the economy, and supporting the strategic goals of Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.
