SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, has launched the UAE’s first International Fertility Conference (SIFC), which is being held from 25–26 April 2025 at the Grand Hyatt, Abu Dhabi.
The conference is gathering leading fertility experts, researchers, and clinicians to explore innovative advancements and holistic approaches to reproductive health. This move highlights SEHA’s commitment to providing truly integrated and patient-centered care across the UAE.
The event, designed to engage both healthcare professionals and members of the public, serves as a thriving platform to share insights, gain knowledge, and network with leaders in the field of reproductive medicine.
With more than 30 years of experience, SEHA Fertility Services has established a strong reputation in the region, operating from its centers at Tawam Hospital and Corniche Hospital.
The company consistently achieves clinical pregnancy success rates exceeding 70 percent, surpassing global benchmarks, with cutting-edge facilities and a dedicated team of expert clinicians. Now, the service is expanding its reach through satellite clinics in the Northern Emirates.
Dr. Salma Salem Al Ameri, Chief Medical Officer at SEHA Fertility Services, commented that, “Built on years of dedication, ethical practice, and patient-centered care, SEHA Fertility Centres stand as a beacon of hope for families across the UAE and beyond. At SEHA, we believe that the journey to parenthood is one of the most profound paths in life, and our multidisciplinary team is here to support patients, every step of the way. The SEHA International Fertility Conference 2025 brings together pioneers in reproductive medicine and surgery to shape the future of fertility care, advancing science, supporting families. Join us for a conference that celebrates progress, fosters collaboration, and redefines excellence in fertility care.”
The conference features leading speakers from around the world, including Professor Richard Smith, who played a key role in introducing uterine transplant surgery in the UK. The event will include a wide range of clinical topics relevant to specialists involved in Fertility, Obstetricians, Gynecologists, General Practitioners, and early care practitioners, and there will be interactive discussion sessions.
Prof. Mostafa Metwally, Conference Chairman and Consultant Physician at Tawam Hospital, stated that, “SEHA Fertility is the only healthcare organisation in the UAE that provides genuinely holistic care for all fertility-related concerns. Our expertise spans the entire fertility journey—from diagnostics to advanced interventions—offering patients accessible, compassionate, and world-class care throughout.”
This program falls in line with PureHealth and SEHA’s broader vision of cementing Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global hub for healthcare excellence. Through this move, SEHA reinforces its commitment to advancing fertility care as a national leader and to advocating for evidence-based medicine, innovation, and collaborations on a global scale.
