Siniora Food Industries has inaugurated its new manufacturing plant in Jeddah under the patronage of HE Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and in the presence of Eng. Majed bin Rafed Al-Argoubi, CEO of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON).
The two-day inauguration marks a key milestone in Siniora’s expansion strategy in Saudi Arabia, supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, including enhancing local content, strengthening national industries, achieving food security, and localizing high-quality investments in the food manufacturing sector.
Siniora’s high-tech manufacturing facility
The new plant represents a major operational achievement and a pivotal phase in Siniora’s growth in the Kingdom. The first phase of the plant covers a built-up area of 11,500 square meters and has an annual production capacity of up to 10,000 tons of frozen and chilled products, using state-of-the-art technologies.
The investment for this phase reached $40 million (SAR 150 million), with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) covering 50 percent of the investment, accelerating the project’s implementation.
The facility is expected to create more than 300 job opportunities, focusing on hiring and training local talent to increase Saudization rates across the workforce.
The new Siniora factory is expected to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s food manufacturing sector by improving production efficiency, supporting local supply chains, and enhancing food security. The facility will also contribute to the transfer of industrial expertise and the localization of modern technologies in a vital sector for the national economy.
