Alghanim Industries (Kutayba Alghanim Group) has announced the launch of Starlink services in Kuwait through its technology venture Sama X, expanding access to high‑speed satellite internet across the country.
As an authorized global reseller of Starlink, Sama X offers access to SpaceX’s advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network, the world’s largest constellation, bringing fiber-like internet performance without relying on traditional ground infrastructure.
The service provides reliable internet both on land and at sea, with typical latency as low as 20 milliseconds, supporting remote operations, critical applications, and everyday connectivity needs.
Since 2020, Starlink has launched over 10,000 satellites, creating the largest LEO satellite network globally. The system now offers a total network capacity of around 450 terabits per second and serves more than 10 million users worldwide.
In Kuwait, Sama X will offer multiple subscription plans with download speeds exceeding 300 Mbps, along with fast delivery, professional installation, and dedicated local support, including a 24×7 bilingual call center.
Customers can purchase Starlink services directly from Sama X or through Xcite, Kuwait’s electronics retailer, both online and in physical stores nationwide.
The service operates fully in accordance with Kuwait’s telecommunications regulations and approvals issued by the relevant authorities.
