Samir Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), led the Bahraini delegation and emphasized Bahrain’s role as a strategic gateway to the Gulf, Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. He pointed to Bahrain’s open economy, liberal market policies, and highly developed financial infrastructure, which includes over 400 offshore banks, as compelling reasons for Polish companies to expand their presence in the Kingdom.

Nass stressed on the importance of advancing bilateral relations and expanding economic and commercial cooperation, highlighting Bahrain’s progress in economic diversification and its shift toward innovation, technology, and industry. He also pointed out that Bahrain’s robust financial infrastructure is supported by the presence of over 400 offshore banks.

Nass further commended the professionalism and efficiency of the Polish people, noting the significant potential for joint cooperation, especially in areas such as food security, education, and advanced manufacturing. A senior official from the International Cooperation Centre at the Lublin City Office outlined the attractive incentives available for Gulf investors in the Lublin region. These include tax refunds of up to 70 percent for a duration of up to 15 years, a regional airport, and access to Europe’s largest dry port, all key factors in making Lublin an ideal base for expansion into European markets.

The Bahrain-Poland Economic Forum also facilitated direct engagement between Polish companies and Bahraini business leaders from sectors such as health, food, education, and technology. Many Polish firms expressed strong interest in establishing or expanding operations in the Gulf region.

The event concluded with the signing of multiple memoranda of understanding between Bahraini and Polish entities. These agreements reflect a shared commitment to enhancing cross-border economic cooperation, with a focus on food security, advanced manufacturing, education, financial services, and technology-driven ventures.
