TCS Saudi Arabia bags bronze trophy at King Khalid Sustainability Award

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, has secured the bronze trophy at the King Khalid Sustainability Award 2021 for its All-Women Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

According to the statement, TCS Saudi Arabia has won this prestigious award for the second year in a row. TCS was recognized for its efforts in ensuring global sustainability standards and practices across ethics, diversity, health, and safety, responsible supply chain, talent development, quality, innovation, and business resilience.

Winners were chosen based on a thorough review conducted on behalf of the King Khalid Foundation by an impartial advisory committee. TCS achieved a 90 percent overall score based on a year-over-year improvement in key performance indicators such as greenhouse gas reduction.

TCS’s All-Women Center is an initiative with a unique business model designed to meet consumer needs while also assisting local communities. As per the statement, “It uses TCS’ expertise to train and develop professional capacities in Saudi women to help them pursue rewarding jobs and reach their full potential in the Kingdom.”

The center supports customers all around the world and offers long-term job opportunities in finance and accounting, human resource operations, supply chain management, IT, and digital-related services.

The King Khalid Sustainability Award, led by the King Khalid Foundation under the patronage of King Salman, intends to honor and support multi-industry private sector organizations or enterprises that adopt sustainability and social responsibility practices, and initiatives by integrating them into their core business strategies.
