The Garage, a startup and innovation hub, has concluded ‘The Garage Challenge,’ a three-day entrepreneurial program helping innovators transform ideas into launch-ready technology startups through mentoring, training, and market validation in Saudi Arabia.
The program brought together participants from a wide range of disciplines in a startup simulation designed to replicate the fast-paced journey of building a technology venture.
Throughout the three-day challenge, multidisciplinary teams combined technical expertise with entrepreneurial skills to develop innovative solutions capable of addressing real-world market needs.
Contestants worked collaboratively to validate customer demand, refine their business concepts and accelerate product development using modern technologies, including artificial intelligence.
The challenge encouraged participants to test assumptions, improve their solutions, and strengthen the commercial viability of their ideas within a compressed timeframe.
By integrating technology specialists with entrepreneurs and business developers, the program promoted cross-functional collaboration while exposing participants to the practical challenges involved in launching and scaling a startup.
A key component of the challenge was its intensive mentorship program, with participants receiving one-on-one guidance from industry experts across several critical areas of startup development.
Mentors provided support in product development, user experience design, business model development, growth strategies, and sales planning, helping teams refine both their technological solutions and commercial strategies.

In addition to personalized mentoring, participants attended a series of hands-on workshops focused on entrepreneurial skills, innovation practices, and startup execution.
The challenge concluded with participating teams presenting their projects before a judging panel. The panel assessed each solution based on its level of innovation, practical application, and readiness for market entry, evaluating both the strength of the technology and the commercial potential of the proposed ventures.
The final presentations highlighted the progress made by teams during the three-day program, reflecting the rapid development process supported by expert mentorship and structured training.
The Garage Challenge forms part of The Garage’s broader efforts to support technology entrepreneurs and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s innovation ecosystem by providing aspiring founders with the tools, knowledge, and industry connections needed to build sustainable technology companies.
