UAE Foreign Affairs Minister & Japan’s PM discuss bilateral cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, has met with Mr. Fumio Kishida, Prime Minister of Japan, as part of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah’s official visit to Japan to strengthen bilateral ties.

During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President His. Highness Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan to Prime Minister Kishida and the Japanese people. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the intense connections between bilateral countries.

Prime Minister Kishida received Sheikh Abdullah and the delegation in Japan and shared his greetings and warm regards to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The two sides discussed ways of bolstering the overall strategic partnership between the UAE and Japan, by utilizing available opportunities to enhance their comprehensive ties.

They also shared views on their strategic cooperation in the energy sector and their joint efforts as part of the significant actions of foreign entities.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah underscored that the UAE and Japan have developed a pioneering example of strategic cooperation over the past 50 years. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah further noted the eagerness to build on present possibilities to attain their objectives as part of the UAE-Japan strategic partnership, for the advantage of the two peoples and countries.

Mr. Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Shihab Ahmed Al Faheem, Ambassador of the UAE to Japan attended the meeting.
