The UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA) has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Greece’s Hellenic Court of Audit and the National Transparency Authority to strengthen bilateral cooperation in public oversight, integrity, and anti-corruption efforts.

The agreements were signed during an official visit to Greece, led by Humaid Obaid Khalifa Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAE Accountability Authority.

They aim to facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two countries and to strengthen joint efforts in promoting transparency and combating corruption.

The move underscores the shared commitment of the UAE and Greece to tackling cross-border corruption and advancing international cooperation in accountability. It also reflects both countries’ dedication to reinforcing transparency, upholding good governance, and building greater public trust in government institutions.

The two Memoranda of Understanding reflect the strategic and growing partnership between the Emirates and Greece, building on an existing track record of collaboration in auditing, oversight, and anti-corruption efforts.
