UAE’s du extends deal with French firm Atos to hasten digitalization

UAE telecom operator Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) has renewed its contract with French multinational information technology service company Atos to accelerate it’s digital objectives in the areas of application modernization and digitalization.

As a strategic partner, Atos will assist du in transforming its current operational model to agile ways of working over the next five years, resulting in increased business value, increased efficiency, improved time to market, higher quality outputs, and overall service efficiency.

The contract will help the telecommunications behemoth achieve its goal of becoming a digital powerhouse by reforming current app development and boosting its service excellence and maintenance (ADM) delivery strategy. This will help achieve agility, reduce the cost of ownership, and enhance operational efficiency in competitive environments.
