UAE’s Sijimix awards truck delivery deal to France’s Renault Trucks

Sijimix, one of the UAE’s leading ready-mix concrete suppliers, has hired Renault Trucks, French commercial truck manufacture, to deliver 10 units of its new K 380 trucks, which will be used to transport concrete across the eastern UAE.

The trucks will be delivered by United Diesel, Renault’s partner in Dubai. This first Sijimix-Renault deal will expand Sijimix’s existing fleet to over 140 units.

The K 380 P6x4 Rigid Chassis models, which meet Euro 5 emission regulations come with a variety of technical capabilities as well as the 9 cubic meters (CBM) transit Concrete Mixers are set to optimize Sijimix’s local operations due to the K range’s functionality and fuel efficiency. 

These trucks are known for their durability, exceptional reliability, and high fuel efficiency. They are equipped and designed to ensure maximum productivity and safety for their drivers, as the new models meet concrete suppliers’ operational needs. It also combines a Euro 5 380hp engine, the Optidriver AT 2612F gearbox with an automated clutch, and a 445-liter tank to reduce operational expenses by minimizing fuel usage.

Sijimix CEO Mr. Mahmoud Attourah said that “Our deal came through numerous studies we’ve conducted, where Sijimix concluded that Renault Trucks are the best choice in terms of financial cost of operation and quality and reliability of the product, which is ideally suited for our operations across Fujairah.”

The trucks are integrated with many features to minimize risk and increase the safety of drivers in tricky situations and provide comfort. Electronic Braking System (EBS), Hill Start Aid (HSA), Anti-Spin Regulation (ASR), Wheel Antilock Braking System (ABS) and Emergency Braking Assist (EBA) are among the features.
