Vibes AlUla has launched a new edition of the ‘Rowad AlUla’ Business Accelerator, aimed at supporting and empowering startup business owners in the AlUla Governorate.
The three-month program is designed to help entrepreneurs grow and scale their ventures across a range of key development sectors.
The Rowad AlUla Business Accelerator is part of Vibes AlUla’s broader initiative to empower the region’s entrepreneurship ecosystem through various programs, including bootcamps, hackathons, and business incubators. These initiatives aim to inspire and support entrepreneurs in building sustainable ventures by connecting them with national networks.
As per the reports, the program focuses on empowering entrepreneurs to scale their businesses, enhance operational efficiency, and become investment-ready and it aims to foster entrepreneurship and contribute to the region’s economic diversification under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The
Building on the success of previous editions, this latest accelerator cycle will run from July 1 through November. Participants will benefit from tailored mentorship sessions, training workshops, and opportunities to pitch to investors, as well as networking with potential partners and collaborators.
According to the statement, the accelerator is free of charge and requires in-person attendance at Vibes AlUla headquarters. It targets local residents who own small or micro-enterprises, as well as entrepreneurs with existing revenue-generating projects. Priority sectors include retail, tourism, agriculture, food and beverages, culture, and other industries critical to AlUla’s sustainable development.
The previous edition achieved impressive outcomes, including a 38 percent increase in participant sales, with total sales surpassing $1.83 million (SAR6.88 million), the creation of over 55 job opportunities, and the formation of more than 15 strategic partnerships.
