According to the statement, the project is part of an integrated plan to implement a system of water projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of its lines and networks, expanding coverage areas, and improving the quality of services provided.

These projects aim to improve the quality of life and achieve water security amid the comprehensive urban development witnessed by the capital, Riyadh.

The NWC noted that it is continuing its accelerated efforts to implement projects that support the infrastructure of the water and environmental sectors and to develop operational process efficiency to keep pace with the growing demand for water.

Furthermore, it affirmed its commitment to achieving its goals with the highest quality standards in project implementation to achieve the desired objectives in light of Saudi Vision 2030.

Last month, NWC completed two major water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Qassim Region, with a total investment exceeding $13 million (SAR 48 million).

The projects involved the installation of over 65 kilometers of water networks and pipelines in Buraidah, covering Al-Yarmouk, Al-Rawabi, Al-Ghadir, and Al-Rawaq districts. More than 40 kilometers of sewage networks were laid in Al-Rass Governorate, serving Al-Shannana and Al-Sina’iya districts.
