Batelco has established the Direct Connect Service Delivery program with Amazon Web Services (AWS), positioning Batelco as the first Bahrain-based operator to offer its customers enhanced connectivity for accessing AWS cloud services.
The program, which builds on Batelco’s relationship with AWS as a Direct Connect partner, will enable Batelco to provide its customers with fast, private, and secure connectivity with high-speed hosted connections.
AWS Direct Connect gives customers the ability to create private network connections between their data center, office, or co-location environment and all regions where Amazon Web Services is present, to reduce network costs, increase throughput, deliver a consistent experience and on top of that having a secure private channel from their premises to AWS.
