Abu Dhabi Chamber & Egypt explore bilateral investment cooperation

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has explored the importance of capitalizing on available opportunities and strengthening commercial relations with its counterparts in Egypt.

Mr. Ali Saeed bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, First Vice Chairman of ADCCI also highlighted supporting the investment cooperation between business leaders and companies in Abu Dhabi and Egypt, for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

The discussion came during the visit of the Investment and Communication Committee of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), headed by Dr. Mahmoud Monir Soliman, Under-Secretary of the FEI’s Board of Directors, Chairman of the Investment, Investors and Business Organizations Liaison Committee, and Chairman of the Arquarzo Group of Companies for the Abu Dhabi Chamber.

Mr. Al Dhaheri noted that Abu Dhabi has become a key international center that attracts global companies wishing to establish regional branches and headquarters in the emirate, and affirmed the chamber’s keenness to encourage cooperation and promote economic, industrial and investment relations with the FEI, as well as organize an investment delegation’s visit to Egypt to further strengthen the relations.

Dr. Soliman expressed the federation’s keenness to strengthen the ties between the two sides and showcase major opportunities available in Egypt, most notably in glass production.

Dr. Soliman invited the Abu Dhabi Chamber and business leaders in the emirate to take advantage of investment opportunities in Egypt, by visiting the “Chamber of Industry” to learn about major investment opportunities in various industrial sectors and to enhance the overall cooperation between Egypt and the UAE.
