The Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disaster Committee for the COVID-19 pandemic, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police and Department of Health, have permitted all residents of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to move freely between its regions (Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra) from 6 AM local time on today.

The decision was taken as positive indicators regarding the number of COVID-19 cases were detected through testing in Abu Dhabi. Movement within the emirate needs to follow the National Sterilisation Programme timings (10 AM – 6 AM).

Constraints on entering the emirate are being extended for another week, with exemptions for all types of goods and mail, and permit holders. The movement of non-resident workers into Abu Dhabi is still forbidden.
