UAE’s leading Islamic financial institution, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), has secured the prime position in the emirate on the Forbes list of World’s Best Banks 2021.

The annual list featured the top 500 banks worldwide which were selected based on more than 43,000 consumer surveys across 28 different countries, with 5 new countries added this year including the UAE.

For the third year running, Forbes has partnered with Statista, the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider to rate the banks on an overall recommendation and satisfaction of consumers, as well as five sub-dimensions namely trust, terms and conditions, customer services, digital services and financial advice.

ADIB’s ranking was based on customer satisfaction and feedback where ADIB received high scores across the different dimensions of the survey including satisfaction, customer service, financial advice, and digital services.
