“ This edition of AIM is special as it will be the first mega digital event in the region which aims to discuss solutions for developing trade and investment and exchanging ideas to meet the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic. And we think also that will set a new benchmark for future virtual events in the UAE.”

Further, Al-Zeyoudi added that the meeting will exhibit the economic prospect of the country as an attractive investment hub, discover new measures to navigate the current market and reinforce the foreign trade sector as well as the relations among the countries.

The UAE is working to create a successful transition from oil-based wealth to a diversified one in a flexible and sustainable model and concentrating on sectors that mark the future economy and foreign investment has an important role in this transformation.

Al-Zeyoudi said that the country is working to draw smart solutions in the business and the pandemic period has shown the capacity of both the government and private sector of the UAE to alter according to the situation and develop a new strategy of work.

The 10th edition of AIM will build a platform to aid economic growth through its key agenda including FDI, Startups, Future Cities, SMEs and Foreign portfolio investment.
