The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture will host the inaugural Bahrain Veterinary Medicine Forum and Exhibition on September 25 and 26, in partnership with Checklist Events, Trade, and Advisories.
Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, said that the Veterinary Medicine Forum and exhibition will serve as a scientific and cultural platform, bringing together veterinarians, researchers, experts, government representatives, veterinary industries, livestock producers, hospitals, clinics, and the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH).
The minister also noted the role of Veterinary Medicine Forum in strengthening animal wealth in Bahrain, underscoring its commitment to expanding partnerships with local and international research institutions and enhancing vaccination and disease prevention programs.
Minister Al Mubarak further highlighted the importance of fostering collaboration between government and private institutions, ensuring that veterinary professionals from across the globe can connect, share knowledge, and work together on advancing veterinary practices.
The Veterinary Medicine Forum will provide opportunities to exchange knowledge and expertise from Bahrain, the GCC, and worldwide, and to learn about the latest practices and innovations in veterinary medicine. It would showcase the latest scientific and technical advancements in veterinary medicine.
The event will also focus on addressing critical health and environmental challenges, offering solutions related to research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of animal diseases.
The Veterinary Medicine Forum aims to enhance Bahrain’s role as a regional hub for veterinary and scientific investment, aligning with the country’s long-term goals for sustainable development.
In addition to the forum, an accompanying exhibition will be held, where veterinary companies, factories, hospitals, clinics, and pet centers will showcase the latest technologies, services, and products in the veterinary field. This exhibition will not only highlight the advanced capabilities within the sector but also open doors for potential investment opportunities and broader partnerships within Bahrain’s growing veterinary industry.
