The 10th edition of the Information and Communication Technology Conference ‘MEET ICT’ and the Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (Bitex) will focus on the important role played by the ICT sector in the economic recovery of the Kingdom.
The event, which will be held from March 29 to 31, 2022, is organized by the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) in collaboration with ‘WorkSmart for Events Management.’
According to Mr. Abdulaziz Qambar, CEO of Bahrain Technology Companies Society, “The next edition of this technical event will be qualitative by all standards. It will highlight everything related to digital transformation, as well as the ICT sector’s role in supporting economic diversification and increasing its contribution to the kingdom’s gross domestic product (GDP).”
BTECH is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2012 with the goal of contributing to Bahrain’s ICT industry through various initiatives, plans, and partnerships.
Mr. Ahmed Al Hujairy, CEO of WorkSmart, has stated that “the next edition of the event would see a qualitative leap in terms of organization and program of events, as well as keynote addresses.”
He emphasized the organizers’ goal of attracting the widest possible participation from local, regional, and international companies in order to achieve the maximum possible benefit for the ICT sector in Bahrain.
“We strongly encourage everyone that is working in the ICT sector to attend this event, as it will provide an excellent opportunity to expand their business in the Mena region, as well as to learn about the latest ICT trends by interacting with the conference’s elite speakers and monitoring potential business opportunities,” Mr. Al Hujairy added.
