COVID-19 has made us refocus on health and overall well-being with immunity becoming the buzzword today. As the pandemic continues to pose challenges, the importance of focusing on lung health cannot be overstated. It is vital to take care of the lungs and make them stronger.

In today’s world, everyone needs to take special care of their lungs before and after the COVID-19 infection. Some nutrients and foods will help you improve your lung health and combat infection. Here is a list of a few foods that will strengthen your lungs.



The beetroot plant’s energetically shaded roots and greens contain intensifiers that help with lung function. Beetroot and beet greens are high in nitrates, which have been shown to help with lung work. Nitrates help in the loosening of veins, the reduction of pulse, and the improvement of oxygen uptake.
