DAN, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company specializing in agriculture, eco-tourism, and adventure tourism, has signed two strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with DRB Arabia and Fresh On Table.
The agreements were formalized on the sidelines of the third edition of the PIF Private Sector Forum 2026 in Riyadh.
The MoUs underscore DAN’s commitment to forging high-impact partnerships that strengthen agritourism models, enhance community engagement within tourism destinations, and support economic growth in rural regions.
The first MoU with DRB Arabia, a company focused on luxury adventure camps, was signed by Abdulrahman Abaalkhail, CEO of DAN, and Ahmad Arab, Founder and Chairman of DRB Arabia.
Under the agreement, DRB Arabia will operate the Community Centre at Tuaja Al-Ahsa, ensuring that activities and events align with the cultural identity and heritage of the region.
The MoU also sets the framework for exploring future collaboration opportunities across DAN’s initiatives, subject to mutual agreement, reinforcing a shared vision for sustainable tourism and community engagement.
Collaboration with Fresh On Table
The second MoU, signed with agritech platform Fresh On Table by Abdulrahman Abaalkhail and Atul Chopra, Founder and CEO of Fresh On Table, will establish a technology platform connecting local farms with the hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, and cafés.
The initiative supports a ‘farm-to-table’ model, linking farm owners directly with market demand to supply fresh, high-quality produce while enhancing efficiency in the agricultural supply chain. The collaboration aims to empower farmers, support communities, and foster sustainable economic growth in the region.
Abdulrahman Abaalkhail Chief Executive Officer DAN
“The partnerships are a core pillar that brings together specialized expertise and operational innovation across DAN’s business models, creating real value for communities. These initiatives reflect our focus on empowering local companies, supporting farm owners, creating opportunities for communities and entrepreneurs, advancing scalable agritourism models, and developing economically sustainable initiatives.”
Atul Chopra remarked that, “The collaboration represents an opportunity to scale a model that places farmers at the heart of the ecosystem and connects them to real market demand. Together with DAN, we aim to build a platform that supports communities and contributes to local economic growth.”
