Dubai Land Department (DLD) has been honored with the ‘Inspirational Brand’ award at the Asia-Pacific Property Awards 2025, reaffirming its status as a leading government entity shaping the region’s real estate sector.
The Inspirational Brand recognition highlights DLD’s role in solidifying Dubai’s position as a global hub for real estate investment and as a premier destination for both individual and institutional investors. The award reflects DLD’s implementation of international standards and the advancement of digital solutions that simplify property transactions and bolster investor confidence.
Through an integrated digital services framework and flexible regulations, the Department has ensured that real estate remains a major pillar of the national economy and a vital source of foreign direct investment.
DLD’s advanced use of technology, including artificial intelligence, has enhanced services such as real estate advertising governance, the Smart Rental Index, Smart Valuation, and the Dubai REST app. These innovations streamline operations, enhance transparency, and improve efficiency for investors, developers, and stakeholders.
DLD’s achievement as the Inspirational Brand also stem from robust market activity. In the first half of 2025, the Department recorded more than 1.3 million real estate procedures, including over 125,000 transactions valued at more than $117.4 billion (AED 431 billion).
Investment figures reached impressive levels, with over 118,000 deals worth $88.9 billion (AED 326 billion). Furthermore, the market welcomed 59,000 new investors, showcasing the growing global appeal of Dubai’s property sector.
The award-winning performance also showcases its contribution to economic, social, and environmental sustainability, as well as its focus on employee and community wellbeing. Between 2021 and 2023, the community satisfaction rate with DLD’s social responsibility initiatives exceeded 95 percent, while its sustainability and health-focused activities recorded success rates of more than 93 percent.
