The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will co-organize the 11th Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) with DP World, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Emaar Properties, and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
RTA also unveiled the theme of the 11th edition of DIPMF, which will be Bridging Communities.
DIPMF , held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, will feature discussions across five main themes and sixteen sub-themes.
Scheduled to take place from 14 to 15 January 2026 at Madinat Jumeirah, the DIPMF will explore five key pillars:
Sustainable City: Focuses on Communities of the Future and Driving Sustainable Growth.
Digital Transformation: Covers Leadership and Strategy, Agile Management, Digital Twins and Metaverse, and Blockchain Technology.
Jobs of the Future: Highlights Efficiency and Optimisation, Remote Project Management, The Project and Circular Economy, and the Role of Specialized Education.
Technology and Future Trends: Explores Artificial Intelligence, Future Smart Mobility, and Big Data.
Customer Centricity in Project Management: Emphasizes Customer Engagement and Communication, Empowered Project Teams, and Agile Hybrid Project Management.

He noted that the 2026 edition’s focus on sustainable communities highlights the vital role of project professionals in driving success and improving quality of life.
Over its past ten editions, DIPMF has attracted nearly 20,000 participants, including senior leaders from government entities and major institutions, as well as more than 400 experts and specialists in project management. They have contributed ideas, insights, and innovations focused on the successful delivery of major projects while sharing international best practices and creative solutions aligned with the highest global standards.
Since its launch in 2014, DIPMF has explored diverse themes united by one goal: advancing project management and operational excellence to global standards. Past editions have carried themes such as ‘Project Management Supports Innovation’, ‘Shaping the Future’, ‘Making a Difference’, ‘Building Nations’, ‘Cultural Diversity’, ‘Mapping the Future’, ‘Fostering Wellbeing’, ‘Beyond Boundaries’, and ‘Sustainable Future’. The current edition is held under the theme ‘Bridging Communities’.
