Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Italian football club AC Milan have launched a collaborative artwork by Emirati artist Fatima Al Kaabi to mark Eid Al-Adha, as part of efforts to promote cultural heritage and strengthen community engagement in Dubai.

The initiative supports Dubai Culture’s ‘Eid in Dubai’ campaign under the ‘Season of Wulfa’, which aims to reinforce social bonds, celebrate Emirati traditions, and highlight shared community values during the festive season.

The artwork combines AC Milan’s iconic ‘Rossoneri’ visual identity with the geometric motifs of Al Sadu, the traditional Emirati weaving practice recognised on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list. The design reflects a fusion of international sporting culture and authentic Emirati heritage.

Created by Al Kaabi, the Eid greeting card features AC Milan’s signature red, black and white colours alongside artistic elements inspired by the UAE’s local environment and cultural identity.

The collaboration aligns with Dubai Culture’s broader strategy to preserve and promote local heritage while creating opportunities for Emirati creatives to showcase their work on international platforms.

The artwork will be showcased across AC Milan’s official communication and digital media channels, expanding its reach to audiences in the Middle East and beyond while highlighting the richness of Emirati culture and creative talent to the club’s global fan base.

Since establishing its ‘Casa Milan Dubai’ regional office in 2023, AC Milan has continued to strengthen its presence in the Middle East through a series of cultural and sporting collaborations. The club currently engages with a regional fan base of more than 11 million followers.
