Dukhan Bank has been named Qatar’s Best Islamic Bank and Qatar’s Best Islamic Digital Bank at the Euromoney Islamic Finance Awards 2026, recognizing its performance in Islamic banking, digital transformation and customer service.
The wins at highlight the bank’s progress in delivering Sharia-compliant financial solutions, advancing digital banking and maintaining a customer-focused approach.
The recognition from Euromoney follows a period of sustained growth across Dukhan Bank’s retail, wholesale, private banking and digital banking businesses, alongside the introduction of new digital solutions, enhanced payment services and strategic partnerships.
During the period, the bank introduced several digital initiatives and strategic partnerships, including Qatar’s first QDI-integrated digital onboarding kiosk, the launch of Visa Card-Linked Offers (CLO) across the CEMEA region, expansion of its digital banking ecosystem, enhanced real-time payment capabilities through Fawran and the introduction of Tahweel, its enhanced local transfer service.
The bank also strengthened its customer offering by combining personalized relationship management with advanced digital capabilities across its retail and private banking businesses.
The strategy is aimed at improving accessibility, expanding its product portfolio and delivering Sharia-compliant banking solutions focused on convenience, service excellence and long-term value.
